Homes For Heroes
Homes for Heroes, Inc. is the largest nationwide network of affiliate real estate, mortgage, and local business specialists; committed to providing easy ways for heroes to save on a home. Most heroes save at least $3,000 when they buy or sell a home with us. When you add up savings from real estate agents, loan officers, title companies, home inspectors and other everyday deals, the savings is way beyond what you’ll get from other national programs.
Since 2009, Homes for Heroes, Inc., has helped over 64,000 heroes save over $124 million on their real estate transactions, sold over $17 billion in real estate to heroes, actively partnered with more than 4,200 like-minded real estate and mortgage professionals who’ve joined in the mission, and donated over $1.4 million to heroes in need through the Homes for Heroes Foundation.
Hometown Heroes
The Florida Hometown Heroes Housing Program is a state-funded program that provides down payment and closing cost assistance to eligible frontline or critical workers who want to buy their first homes in the communities where they work and serve. The program also offers a lower first mortgage rate and additional benefits to current and former military personnel.
The program is administered by the Florida Housing and Finance Corporation
and has a maximum assistance amount of $25,000. The program was approved by the Florida Legislature in response to the housing challenges faced by Hometown Heroes during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Homes For Heroes Circle Of Giving
The Homes for Heroes Circle of Giving is the process of how we serve our heroes. It begins when a hero registers on our site and we connect them with our local real estate and mortgage specialists to buy, sell or refinance a home. While working with heroes, our specialists provide exceptional service and assist our heroes with closing on a home or new mortgage. Following the closing process, heroes receive their Hero Rewards savings. Then, Homes for Heroes, Inc. makes a donation to the Homes for Heroes Foundation. The foundation then provides a grant to a nonprofit organization who assist heroes facing a housing crisis or urgent financial needs.
By providing the savings to heroes after they close on a home, and donating hero grants to organizations who help struggling heroes, we strengthen the health of local communities by putting more money into the hands of local heroes.
